Pagoda Aviary

In designing this aviary we were inspired by the oriental nostalgia so much in vogue in eighteenth-century Europe when it was customary to rework traditional aesthetic canons to adapt them to the rampant exotic fashion. The dimensions and the aedicule aesthetics with an octagonal layout make it perfect for interiors where, if surrounded by greenery, it can create a winter garden or a poetic corner of rest. The bosses of its base are retractable doors that open onto a spacious compartment where you can store the necessary for the care and refreshment of the animals. It is surmounted by a practical sliding drawer that collects food scraps and allows for easy maintenance and cleaning. It is equipped with two finely perforated doors to access the interior. Hand-built in marine wood, it is rich in meticulous handcrafted finishes: the feathers and the pine cone on the top of the roof, the little flowers that surmount the doors, the small tassels that hang from the roof. The lacquering is done by brush and it is possible to customize it.
